Connect in making
In 2023, I lived in France for two months. I came into contact with a group of violin makers and their friends, who lived together in a house in Mirecourt. I found it difficult to feel connected to them because I was not at home in the French language and culture. Observing how they interacted with each other, I discovered that we could interact if we made something together. This motivated me to give cyanotype workshops. In explaining, trying out, discussing, collaborating and admiring, I found interaction and connection between them and me.
